Join us in Columbus for ‘Building Women’s Power’

Please join us for a conversation about strategies to promote women’s equality and enable all women—particularly women from diverse racial, ethnic, and economic backgrounds living across the state of Ohio—to thrive economically.

We will come together to discuss, strategize, and organize around a host of policy priorities that impact the lives of women and their families. Our goal is to connect the dots on issues such as equal pay; access to abortion and reproductive health care and rights; child care; paid leave and paid sick days; and sexual harassment. We hope participants leave this discussion better positioned to work collaboratively to create impactful change that is responsive to women’s diverse realities and experiences.

Please bring your unique perspective to join this important conversation about strategies for the future.

This event will be followed by Generation Progress’ We Are Progress: Turning Vision to Action, a day-long advocacy and leadership skills building training the next day, Saturday, June 23, at Columbus State Community College. Columbus City Councilmember Liz Brown will join us as we come together to discuss, strategize, and organize around a host of policy priorities that impact all young people’s lives—from reproductive rights to climate change—and provide advocacy and earned media tactics and skills training for young people to lead the charge on the issues important to them. Please share with your networks of young people and RSVP here!
